How to Participate:
AUDITIONS AND COMPETITION will be held at the Main Library at 615 Church Street, Nashville, TN.
Participation in the Talent Hunt is open for the following form of trained art:

Music: Vocal and instrumental; classical, semi-classical, gospel and jazz.

Interpretive Movement to Music: ballet, modern dance and tap.

Spoken Word: Poetry, oration, monologue, etc.

Basic Rules for Participation in the District and International Talent Hunt:

Contestant must be a high school student who has not advanced beyond a senior at time of the Local Talent Hunt.

Contestants who are “Home Schooled” must present verification from their school district that they are enrolled as a high school students.

All presentations including instrumental numbers must be memorized and must be dignified and in good taste.

The Talent Hunt is a competition on the Chapter, and District levels.

The presentation performed or presented at the Chapter level shall be the same as performed at the District and International level.

Dress for the part, Sunday best or what's appropriate for the performance (i.e. dance or acting a part)

Incomplete and/or late applications will be returned and the contestant will not be allowed to perform
